Melody Moko is an Americana artist not afraid to push the limits of the genre, inspired by Brandi Carlile and Kathleen Edwards, she shakes off the doom and gloom and brings vibrancy to any stage she steps upon. Having toured both the USA and Australia, Melody Mokos debut album “the wreckage” scored her a successful national tour and a CMC New Artist nomination.


We DID It! 

We bloody it guys! Over on Pozible, we cracked the campaign, not only did we raise $15,000 for my record, we went over the top and made it to $17,026, Can you BELIEVE it! I can't. A HUGE thankyou to everyone who was involved with the process,  to those who pledged, to those who shared, to those who cheered me on! Ready To Make Record Number 2! 

Here we go folks, the journey is beginning on baby number 2!

Between birthing babies and traversing highways, I found some time on my hands (ha!) to write a whole bunch of club bangers. Take Me- number 20 on the CMC countdown  

Melodys first single from her debut album teaser EP, Take Me, has been climbing the charts over at CMC, sitting pretty at number 20 this week! A big thanks to all who were involved, Josh Holliday, Michael Muchow, Catherine Britt and of course CMC for the support :) 

Melody Joins The Fight For Marriage Equality 

As one of the first artists to contribute to a recent project by South Australia-based film company triptych films to advocate for marriage equality, Melody Moko was ecstatic to be apart of such a great cause. 

The project, "beyond the rainbow" features Australian musicians sharing their version of the classic track "somewhere over the rainbow" and interviews with LGBT couples. The video hopes to help catapult change to the laws surrounding marriage equality.
