MELODY MOKO’S 2020 SUCCESS CONTINUES FOLLOWING THREE NOMINATIONS FOR GOLDEN GUITAR AWARDS

In a year that many have written off, Australian singer-songwriter, Melody Moko, has plenty to smile about.

Not only the release of her new album, “Two Kids and A Radio”, but four ARIA Albums Chart positions, a new baby on the way and now three Golden Guitar Award nominations.

Melody didn’t muck around either, securing herself three of the key awards – Alt Country Album of The Year along with producers Neilson Hubbard & Michael Muchow, Female Artist of the Year and New Talent of The Year for the track, “Like Hank Would”.

“In a year that keeps dealing blows, I’m so honoured to be putting music out that people love and gets them through hard times, and to now to have the industry recognise all the hard work we put into this album, I am overwhelmed”, said Melody.

Releasing her album, “Two Kids and A Radio” on September 11 to rave reviews, Melody has toured as much as she can despite Covid restrictions. These have included solo shows and a bunch of Bush Pubs dates with Catherine Britt throughout Queensland and South Australia.

Melody’s latest single, “Like Hank Would”, is currently number 36 on the National Top 50 Airplay Chart and number 13 on the Country Songs Chart. The track also hit number 2 on the Australian Country Radio Top 10.

“Like Hank Would” is at radio now and Melody’s album, “Two Kids and A Radio” is out through MGM Distribution.
